David L. Kamelhar, MD, FACP, FCCP, attended the New York University School of Medicine, and received his medical degree in 1974. Furthermore, he conducted his internal medicine residency at NYU Medical Center (1974 – 1977) and served as Chief Resident. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in pulmonary medicine disease at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine (1977 – 1979). Dr. Kamelhar received board certification in internal medicine and pulmonary disease medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association and Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) as well as Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). Prior to medical school, he acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude at Yeshiva University.
